Hi, I’m Bec; a photographer, wife, and proud mum to three beautiful kids who inspire me every single day.

My love for photography began early. On my 9th birthday, I unwrapped my first film camera, and from that moment, I was hooked. I became the one always behind the lens, capturing everything and everyone around me; much to my family’s amusement!

In high school, I studied Film, Digital Photography, and Visual Arts, and received my first film SLR; a camera I still treasure today. There’s something timeless about film; the anticipation, the texture, and the honest way it captures light and emotion. Though I now shoot mostly digital, I still love to use film whenever I can. It keeps me grounded in my creative roots and reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

When my older children were born, life became beautifully busy; yet photography remained my anchor, a way to slow down and hold onto fleeting moments. By the time my youngest arrived, I knew it was time to follow that passion wholeheartedly and turn it into a career.

For over 20 years, I’ve been a photographer, continually growing and refining my craft. I’ve completed a Diploma in Graphic Design and a Diploma in Photography, as well as a Certificate IV in Visual Arts and a Certificate IV in Photography. I continue to do professional development on a regular basis; education that has strengthened both my technical skills and creative vision.

Today, I balance photography with my work as a Learn to Swim Instructor and Lifeguard; roles that allow me to connect with people, support families, and celebrate life’s milestones. I also hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and have been First Aid and CPR trained for over 20 years; ensuring a safe, calm, and professional environment in all that I do.

My photography is all about storytelling; from weddings and newborns to families and everyday connections. It’s about emotion, love, and capturing life’s genuine moments; creating timeless keepsakes you’ll treasure for years to come.
